"Other way around," Midona pointed out, Kyra's hisory lesons paying off for once, "Faerie women, pretending to be moral prostitutes for reasons best known to themselves. Or at least, reasons since lost to history. Posing as muses for artists and writers, mistresses for bored husbands, and whores for those merely in search of a good f*ck." The gancanagh was as blunt as ever, "Your ansestor -from your aura, a grandparent- would have been born in their world, and left on a mortal doorstep." She paused, "This wouldn't have been because she didn't care for them, you know. Halflings are too...fragile...to last in faerie. Part mortal ones, at least. I'm part fae, part demon -and part unseelie, but lets not go into that- so I'm fine. Not as strong as true faeries or demons or whatever else I am, perhaps, but not as weak either."

Midona downed her drink in one -she had more than enough experience at that- and grinned at Anna, "Mayhap we stop chating and go find Frances and Hector?"

Anna nodded, and practically heaved the drunk Anthony on her back.

"Men," she quipped, grinning, "Can't hold their alcohol. Big babies, really."

Midona laughed, Seth's arms draped around her neck, "Indeed they are. God, what must we look like?"

"Daft," Anna concluded, and dragged the stumbling Anthony outside.

"True that." Midona laughed, and Seth, intoxicated as he was, laughed along with her.

"Hey, Frances, Hector. If you two have no objections, we must go...somewhere."
