hi! and welcome to the forum! Feel free to join or start your own RP's or conversations and add your own comments, as long as they are not offensive. For people who have been trusted with my password, there is also the Conversation Page for you. Have fun, My friends have caused me to make some rules: 1. I don't mind Showenei (sp) but nothing more than this please. 2. Actually no more than that for either gender, whatever the sexuality. 3. You can suggest at most things 4. And if you give me cause to delete your roleplay i will, but I would rather you just obeyed the rules and everyone was happy. 5. Nothing Racist or anything like that. I'll probably ban you. Right, I'm starting this thread because it annoys me when people post flashbacks in the main rps. So post any notable but non-nessisary backstory here.

I'll start:

Elivina and Orin's first meeting:

"Perhaps I should tend to the rest of my wounds?" Orin asked tentativley. There were far too many for her to deal with alone, some in places she did not know of.

"Is it true?" The solitary fae was blunt, curious.

"Is what true?"

"That you are of the unseelie court?"

"No. Not anymore."

Midona and Keade discussing the fae

"Seriously? Faeries?" Keade sounded cynical, as well she might.

Most today don't believe in my kind...I wish I didn't.

"Yes. Faeries."

"Well how much harm can they do? I mean, their faeries. As in, little winged pixies who grant wishes."

"No. As in our size and terrifing. They will not lie, but they still decieve."

"They can't be any wore than the other things you've dealt with. I mean, demons and angels and shadow beings."

"Fae are different. An angel would just kill you outright. But a faery could make you dance until your legs snapped underneath you, make you guage your own eyeballs out to unsee them, make you-"

"Gods, Midona, that's enough! Just...just shut up about them, okay?"

"Okay, but one last thing."

"What?"

"They hate being reffered to as faeries. As you did."

"Wh-what will they do to me?"

"You don't want to know."

Midona and Kyra:

The would-be demon queen tied her young charge's hair back with a ribbon.

"You can save us all, Midona." Kyra whispered, smoothing the ribbon one last time before rising and walking towards the door.

Her words made Midona uneasy. What if I can't? Unlike Midona, Kyra had no fae parentage. She could lie at will.

"Mom, the computer won't work and I need to do my homework. Will you...?" Iblis asked the question, but Kyra was already long gone.

"I'll do it, brother." Midona smiled, at the same time trying to usher her 'brother' out of her and Kyra's private study, knowing that her adoptive parent would prefer him to remain clueless about the nature of their 'lessons'. There are some things children should not know.

"Thanks sis. Hey, sis?"

"yeah?"

"Why does mom only talk to you now? Why not me and Ash?"

Midona shook her head. How could she possibly explain what they were planning, and how much they had to lose?

((Just a quick insight into the Kyra/Midona relationship, and of what Kyra was like as a mother (not great). She sounds kind of creepy, with the way she acts around Midona. I assure you she wasn't a pedo, lol.))

Gabriel looked in at the room where Blake slept fitfully, feeling an unreasonable -by the standards of his court- stab of guilt.

It had been bad enough when the boy had tried to leave the court, but then he had to go and swear allegiance to Kyra of all people. It had been poison seeping into the wound, so Gabriel had struck back and given Blake physical wounds of his own.

It was only now, in the cold half-light of dawn, that the consequences of that irrational course of action settled on him. He had driven Blake away.

No. Not me. Them. This place.

Now, Gabriel no longer found pleasure in the beauty of violence or the sorrow of mortals. The very things which empowered this world disgusted him. For the first time in his life, he cared enough to hate what he represented.
