Midona sat down, legs crossed on top of each other, in a perfect lotus position. Even with the schoolgirl-ish pigtails her hair was tied into, she looked wise. Otherworldy. Which wasn't suprising, considering she was from another world, but that was hardly the point.
"Okay, look, there are many worlds besides the one you live in, as you may well have gathered, and all have their secrets; their dark history. Sammy and Lupus, your entire race exists because of one such secret, but that is another story. There are also gods; not all-knowing creators, nor are they omnipotent or immortal, although they are powerful and have the abilty to grant a form of immortality." Midona sighed, "Once, there was a god who betrayed the others. You humans commonly know him as the 'devil', I beleive? He was allowed to continue existing because of the nessesity of an evil figure, for whatever reason one may be needed. He is practically immortal, due to absorbing the souls of many other creatures...vgods, demons, mortals...the lot. And Elissa, I beleive, made a deal with him. He's the one I -no, we- need to destroy to save the world. All the worlds."
Midona looked at each of them in turn, registering their expressions. Frances, Lupus, and Anna, shock and fear. Sammy, disbeleif. Iblis, determination. She smiled, at least her 'brother' would fight by her side, that much she was sure of.
