"Don't leave me!" Deillion reached for Terry, for Midona, for someone. "Please don't leave me here. Please."

"You stay." Midona said, "Both of you. Terry because Dell needs you, and Blake because...you don't need this right now. I get that. and you, like, mean to much to me for me to drag you into this mess any more than you have to be."

Terry frowned. "I am going, Midona, and I cannot leave Blake behind." Deillion flinched. His voice was like ice. "However, Deillion..." he sighed. "If you truly wish it, you may come with me. Though, you must stay with Anna, and do exactly as you are told. You could get hurt. I do not want that."

Midona opened her mouth to protesst, no doubt intending to say something about how she was the hero and the others need not intervene, because she totally knew what she was doing, because she was totally badass, but Blake, logical, diplomatic Blake, silenced her by calmly placing a hand on her arm, and saying, "He has a point, Mi."

Midona sighed, "Okay, but my brother? and the mortals? and Aine? they stay. Including Seth." she thought on it for a second, "especially Seth."

"You must care for him a lot." Blake observed, "You were never thi kind to your mortals in the past."

"Kind?" Midona half-laughed, "No, Blake, that I am not. But he is my shadow boy, afterall. Broken toys are no fun."

Blake rolled his eyes, knowing full well that was all the stubborn halfling would ever admit too, "If you say so, Mi."

"Lorelei will take care of them. She enjoys that. They may walk away weighing slighlty more. You might have to roll them out of the door." Terry smiled, and set Deillion down, and then drew Blake close, breathing deeply.
