Blake took terry's hand with a small smile. Who would've guesed I'd end up here, anyway? Was this what you promised me, Gabe, all those years ago?

The journey back to Terry's was short, the aquiration of Anna even more so, and soon Terry had managed to sniff out a door a few feet from his own.

"So what is it precisely you are wanting to do, Midona?" he asked, all the while holding Deillion in one arm and keeping hold of Blake's hand with the other.

"get my brother -and Anna's and my siser if I can find her, and anyone else who I feel needs it- and tuck them safely away here so I don't have to feel guilty about involving children in their parents' war."

"But you are a child." Blake pointed out, "You're 15."

Seth dropped Midona's hand and stared at her, "You're 15? Gods, I feel like such a creep..."

Midona laughed, a sound wrought of shadows and temptation and rotten beauty. "Relax. It's not like imma call the cops on your ass or anything."

Terry smiled lightly, and then opened the door, ushering everyone inside. The bright white of the endless corridor of doors made him wince for a moment, before his eyes ajusted.

"Tha' one's yers, ain't it, guv?" Anna pointed at the lavish door across the hall that she had seen (and knocked on) once before.

"Yeah. That's to Kyra's place." Midona pushed her way through, arriving in the main hall of the mansion she had once called home.

A small black-haired boy ran up and hugged her waist, two other young boys following shortly after, Hugo and Dante.

"Sis!"

"Hey little monster. You wanna come on vacation with me?"

Electric-blue eyes blinked, immediatley suspicious, far moreso than a child should be. "Where to?"

"London."

"But don't you live there anyway, Mi?"

"Not New London. London London, in england."

"Ohhh....hey, can my friends come too?"

"I was kind of planning on it, kid."

Iblis giggled, "Don't call me kid!"

Two more figures stepped out of the shadows, "I take it we're not included in that promise, huh, Mi?"

Midona sighed. Sherry was difficult to deal with. Really, she shouldn't have been, being a 13 year old street kid, but she was.

"Why wouldn't you be?"

"I know you, Midona..." Sherry muttered, she had never ttrully forgiven Midona for that one forgoten promise, and they both knew it, "Your word doesn't count for sh*t."

Her broher, Luka, stayed silent. He always did, so much so that Midona often forgot what hi voice sounded like.
