Terry smiled sadly at Blake, then pushed him gently towards Deillion.

"He won't mind," he whispered.

Blake awkwardly placed a hand on Deillion's arm, not wishing to appear overly friendly.

"Look, Dei..." Blake began, "I don't even know you, but trust me....whatever happened to you is- is over now, and you're completley...maybe not fine, but you will be." Blake paused. He was reassuring himself as much as Deillion, and he still found it hard to breathe when discussing such things. The wounds went too deep. It hurt.

"A-and here you are. You survived. That takes a lot of strengh, believe me, more that you think you have. And...I know that it was the very things my people embody which h-hurt you, and...I'm really, really sorry for that, seriously, you have no idea, and, whoever hurt you...I hope they suffered for it."

Blake said all of this in one go, and the words seemed to hover in the air, almost tangible. But he had said them, and that was what mattered.

"They did." The voice was nothing more than a whisper, but it echoed around the room.

Terry came and stood beside Blake, gently wrapping his arms around him in comfort - he knew Blake's speech had been as much about himself as it had been Deillion.

Deillion smiled softly.

"You have amber eyes, don't you, Blake?"

"Yeah." Blake sighed, "I do."

"Terry....never leave me. Please. Promise me that." He cloed his eyes for a second, images he would rather not remember running through his head, "Because I honestly don't think I'll make it without you." he whispered.

"I shall never leave you, Blake. Never." Terry hugged the young man close, nose resting against his curls. "I will be there for you."

From his window seat, Deillion smiled. "He will, y'know. As long as you want him to, he will."
