Blake sighed, "Yeah, okay. Y'know, it was a lot easier not having to anything for myself." he laughed slightly, then shook his head, "I suppose I'll get better at stuff like this. I mean, I probably can't get worse, right? Sorry, I'm kinda useless, really..."

"Wow, huh?" Aine laughed, "I can work with wow."

Midona stared at huh, "Woah. I mean, I had no idea...I mean, you're so pretty, I never realised...you look nice." she finished, realizing that there was no nice way to phrase what she was trying to say. Before, Aine had always been in the somewhat-plain garb of a low-ranking faery going about day to day life. The difference was remarkable. "I like your dress."

"Hmm?" Aine flicked her hair over her shoulders, "I wore this to the solstice ball, a few years back. Soleil wept golden tears of sunlight. Show him what he can never have."

"Soleil?"

"A sunlight being."

"You and him were...something, right?"

Aine laughed, "Yes. Oh my gods, yes. Until my queen interfered. Apparantly having one of her court be with one not-faerie is simply unspeakable. And when I find the courage to seek him out, I find him in the arms of another, one of his own kind." Aine sighed, "Life goes on, I suppose."

Midona fell silent, then asked, "Why does no-one around her have normal, healthy relationships?"

Terry smiled softly at Blake and ran a finger over his scar.

"No, you're not."

Anna looked at her friend.

"'Coz life's not fair, guv."

Blake laughed, "Dude, you're delusional. You keep going on about how I'm all beautiful and amazing and stuff. I'm not, I'm just another guy. Not that special." he paused, "I like that you think I'm something more than that, though."

"Well, no." Midona admitted, "But, really? The dysfinction level around here is, like, crazy high. We should employ a therapist just for this house." the gancanagh laughed.

Terry smiled and straightened out the bed. "Well, you are. Nothing you say or do will change that in my eyes."

And then he turned to tie back the curtains, a dash of red sprinkled across his nose.

Anna nodded.

"We 'ad one before, I think, but 'e died o' the crazy."

Blake laughed, "Whatever, dude. And by the way, you can turn away all you like, I still know you're blushing."

Midona grinned at Anna, "Now, why does that not suprise me?"
