"Don't," said Terry. "Just smile. You're beautiful when you smile." Terry brushed his thumb over Blake's lips, before standing and striding to the kitchen, motioning for Blake to follow.

In the kitchen, Anna and Tony lay slumped over the table, clothes rumpled and an empty whiskey bottle between them, fast asleep and snoring lightly.

Blake gave terry a strange half-smile. "You are kind." he said, knowing that faeries disliked the phrase 'thank you' "but I am not. I thought faeries didnt lie?" ~ Not so far away, Midona had managed to pull Deidara's attention away from the group of shadow creatures. They were beautiful -striking- but, like so many other creatures, were unlikely to welcome the stares of two complete strangers. "we ought to be getting back. Come." Deidara cast a look back at the shadow-people, before following midona. "woof." she muttered sarcastically; disliking being treated as a pet but having enough sense to wish to avoid being stuck in a strange city alone. Some things didn't change with time, and the fate of a lost and hopelessly confused young girl was one of them. That she and Midona both knew only too well. She shivered. "right behind you!"

Terry smiled at Blake, and brushed his hands through the boy's hair.

"I am not lying. Why should I lie?" He took one of Blake's hands, and grinned.

"Now, I would be lying if I said I didn't need you to help me wake these two up, before they drink and eat and sleep me out of house and home."

"which you cannot do." Blake noted, before dragging Anna off the counter by one arm. ~ Midona and Deidara practically fell into the kitchen. Deidara was grinning, which was rarely a good sign. "haha, I totally pwned your ass, Mi."

Terry smiled at Midona and Deidara over an armful of boozed-out Tony, before lugging him into one of the bedrooms and gracefully flinging him onto the bed. He motioned for Blake to do the same.

A sleepy Anna rolled off the bed, slouched outside, and hollered for Hector and Frances, before rolling back on to the bed, and fell promptly asleep, knowing the grapevine of the Alley would soon reach the men wherever they were in the city.

Terry smiled at Anna's antics, before pulling the smaller boy into his arms, going into the kitchen and lifting him back onto the kitchen counter.

"There. Now I have room for you in here." Then he turned, a smile on his face, to the girls.
