At this point, a girl with cropped brown hair walked in to the office and stood in front of Minerva McGonagall. Her blue eyes flashed with mirth.
"So, mam," she said with a heavy Irish lilt, "who am I to be findin' again?"
McGonagall sighed and turned toward the strange girl.
"Miss Tipper, you'll be wanting Summer Snape."
"And where can I find her, mam?"
"I suppose she'll be in one of the common rooms. And please don't call me "mam". We are professors here."
"Oh, I am sorry, mam," said Tullia, meaning it, "but it is an awful hardship to learn it all. But," she flashed McGonagall a grin, "I'll know I'll get it soon, to be sure." |
